Hark The Herald Angels Sing at the Joseph Manigault House Celebrating 350 Years! Members of The Garden Club of Charleston, Inc. have decked the halls again this year to welcome visitors to the historic home at The Charleston Museum. “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” is an English Christmas carol originally written by Charles Wesley in 1739.  In the lyrics, Wesley attempted to establish a cosmic connection between the heavenly chorus and our hope for peace on earth. this year the home is adorned with angels, musical instruments, crystal, and natural greenery wrapped in gold, white and touches of red to celebrate this beautiful carol!  Visitors can purchase tickets to the home throughout the month through the Charleston Museum.
